What are Knotless Braids?
Hands down the most popular style of Summer 2021!!!
But on a serious note: Knotless braids are an undated form of box braids, that leaves out the knot at the base. Hence the term knot-less.
Kanekalon hair is fed into the braid like it would be done to feed-in cornrows.
The reason this technique has taken off like it has is because this new take on box braids are much lighter than before. They’re almost weightless meaning they don’t pull at your edges and are overall a healthy choice for your hair.
The other thing these braids have over the popular box braids of the 90’s is their installation time. Knotless braids can be done in as little as 2 hours. It just depends on the size you want them.
At the end of the day Knotless braids weigh less, are cute and don’t equate to spending all day in a salon.
