Free $95 TWST Bar Hair Service for Furloughed or Previous Government workers affected by this administration
Updated: Oct 31, 2025
Life is difficult.
TWST Bar was created with the spirit of the adulthood we were promised. We were promised jobs after college. We were promised jobs without college. And we most definitely were promised a good ole government job was secure.
Our Bougie Big Sis N Natural Hair Studio doesn’t get involved with politics, but at TWST Bar, we speak on anything and everything. With that being said, we’d like to help. And seeing as hair always needs to be done, whether you have a job or not, that’s how we will be helping.
For one day ONLY, we will be offering FREE $95 services to furloughed government workers AND any government worker who surprisingly lost their job under our current administration.
Here’s how it will work:
Show up! You can let us know you’re coming by clicking here, but you don’t have to
Show your government worker’s ID (if you’re furloughed) or your termination letter with your regular ID if your department was closed or downsized
Choose a $95 service

Walkout ready for the world
It’s that simple.
This will only be taking place one day. In anticipation of the crowd, we will have access to three salons on our block, and we have 15 team members scheduled to work. And a few have agreed to work 10-12 hr shifts to make sure everyone gets styled.
We will be paying our stylists for the day. If you are reading this and you support what we’re doing, you can donate to help us in paying for our staff for that day and possibly extend this initiative beyond one day.
Also, please leave a comment on where people who will be attending this event can go to apply for jobs.
Thank you all for supporting us as we support our community. Click here to see the $95 menu.
I love seeing a local business use its resources to support people in the community. Losing a job can affect so many aspects of daily life, and having a chance to relax and feel taken care of is a wonderful way to remind people that they are not alone Moto X3M
My starting point for a digital Tesla wrap would be a plain background and one broad stripe. It gives you a quick way to see which template areas become doors, hood and rear panels without hiding mistakes under detailed artwork. That's the workflow I'm developing in Tesla × Wrap, a Tesla wrap designer for Paint Shop. Once the basic placement makes sense in the 3D preview, adding a personal illustration or a small piece of text becomes much easier to judge.
The point about choosing focused tools is a good one. I used Pokemon Team Builder for a small task where I needed to look at team balance in one place, and it did not make the process feel more complicated than necessary.
I like planning an early departure, and MapQuest Driving Directions helps me picture the trip before the day gets busy and my schedule fills up.
