Life is difficult.
TWST Bar was created with the spirit of the adulthood we were promised. We were promised jobs after college. We were promised jobs without college. And we most definitely were promised a good ole government job was secure.
Our Bougie Big Sis N Natural Hair Studio doesn’t get involved with politics, but at TWST Bar, we speak on anything and everything. With that being said, we’d like to help. And seeing as hair always needs to be done, whether you have a job or not, that’s how we will be helping.
For one day ONLY, we will be offering FREE $95 services to furloughed government workers AND any government worker who surprisingly lost their job under our current administration.
Here’s how it will work:
Show up! You can let us know you’re coming by clicking here, but you don’t have to
Show your government worker’s ID (if you’re furloughed) or your termination letter with your regular ID if your department was closed or downsized
Choose a $95 service
Get serviced
Walkout ready for the world
It’s that simple.
This will only be taking place one day. In anticipation of the crowd, we will have access to three salons on our block, and we have 15 team members scheduled to work. And a few have agreed to work 10-12 hr shifts to make sure everyone gets styled.
We will be paying our stylists for the day. If you are reading this and you support what we’re doing, you can donate to help us in paying for our staff for that day and possibly extend this initiative beyond one day.
Also, please leave a comment on where people who will be attending this event can go to apply for jobs.
Thank you all for supporting us as we support our community. Click here to see the $95 menu.

This is a genuinely useful kind of help, because it meets people at the exact moment their budget disappears but they still have interviews to walk into. The termination letter option matters too, since furloughed is not the only way people got hit. If you record a promo for it, an MP3 Compressor keeps the file small enough to share in group chats. Hope the TWST Bar day is packed.
Your article kept me engaged from start to finish. The way you presented complex information so simply is remarkable. just be patient
SURVIVE MIN is a dialogue-driven visual novel with zero mechanical complexity — and that's exactly why it's dangerous.
This is such a thoughtful initiative, it’s really nice to see support being offered in a practical and caring way during tough times. When I need a quick mental break from heavy topics like this, I usually unwind with Subway Surfers since it’s easy to jump into. It’s simple, colorful, and honestly a pretty relaxing way to reset for a few minutes.
I like how TWST Bar is straightforward about current difficulties instead of avoiding them. Supporting customers regardless of their job status is a very humane act. Maintaining such a model these days needs an extremely sharp strategy and quick reaction speed, reminding me of the dramatic feeling when performing bursts of speed in the game Drift Hunters.
