How we’ve drastically changed our marketing and why you should know About It

If you’ve known us for a while, you may be wondering why you haven’t seen us on IG lately. This was intentional, not accidental. Research has shown that social media is not a healthy place for people to engage, especially when it comes to confidence. Here’s a few quotes from reputable organizations:

When it comes to N, improving our clients' confidence is in our Mission statement. It’s literally the first sentence: At our salon, we help to foster confidence, advocate acceptance of self, and build communities that support the current and future leaders of our time.

So when we realized social media wasn’t the best place for our people to be hanging out we took it upon ourselves to lead by example and we stopped hanging out there. This doesn’t mean you will never find us on socials it just means you’ll find us a lot less.

We wanted to let you know how we have been marketing, so you know where to look for info and where to find us outside of social media.

For many who aren’t already clients, they may never hear about the cool things we are doing, and IF they hear about it on social media, it’s literally the last place we post it. Here are three places you can expect to hear from us:

Our 301-747-0387 Text line Weekly: We use this text line to send out mass texts on availability. We usually send it out on Thursday and Saturday mornings. These mass texts let our clients know any appt days/times that are available. These text are convenient for anyone who wants to last minute appt and wants to ditch searching the website and is seeking aid with securing an appt from our booking concierge.

Our 301-910-4247 phone line: Our team has been reaching out to clients we haven't seen in a while, and for good reason. Up until a few months ago, our booking process was long, drawn out, and our communication time was unacceptable. WE have changed that now. Our online booking is simpler, and our communication time is short. On average, we reply to clients within 5 minutes. We’re calling clients we haven’t seen in a while to spread the good news, let them know what new things we have going on, and see if we are in a better position to service them than before.

Our 301-901-8047 text line. This is our monitored text line where our booking concierge responds in minutes. This is also the line you will receive automatic text from once you’ve booked an appt. You can expect to receive automated texts before and after your appt. This is not an attempt to harass you. This is an attempt to make sure you and our team have all the info needed before your appt. The text after your appt is us making sure we did our job well and creating a space for you to give us feedback.

These emails may also contain tips for keeping your hair together when you’re not in our chairs. As well as any policy changes or updates to our team. You may want to open these, as this is our main form of communication with everyone.
